Gena Asher | Nov. 11, 2010
Four graduate students who have undertaken the three-year-old dual master’s degree in folklore and journalism will talk about their experiences at a round table discussion at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 17 in the Ernie Pyle Hall lounge.

The students who have completed or nearly completed the program are Anna Batcheller, who works as a photojournalist and multimedia specialist; Lesley Ham, a museum curator and public folklorist; Maria Kennedy, MA '09, now is pursuing a doctorate in folklore; and Jennifer Pocock, who works with National Geographic as an art researcher.

Anyone who is interested in ways to integrate folklore and media or who is interested in learning more about this master’s degree program is welcome to attend.
