Dan Ferber will talk at 7 p.m. April 7. He is co-author of Changing Planet, Changing Health.

Science writer Dan Ferber, author of Changing Planet, Changing Health, will talk about his research and work at 7 p.m. April 7 in the Ernie Pyle Hall auditorium.

Ferber, who is scheduled to teach a science writing course this fall, has investigated environmental and health issues as far away as Kenya and Honduras and in Harlem and Wyoming.

He will talk about his book, co-authored with Paul Epstein, associate director of the Center for Health and Global Environment at Harvard Medical School, including solutions he and Epstein propose for shaping a healthy global economy.

The talk is open to the public. Ferber will sign books after the talk.
