Associate professor Anthony Fargo is the author of an article published this summer in a British communications law journal. The article, “Shielding Anonymous Speakers on U.S. News Websites,” was published in Vol. 3, No. 1 of the Journal of Media Law.

The article examines cases in which American newspapers have claimed that state shield laws should protect them from revealing the identities of people who have posted comments on online versions of news stories.
