The School of Journalism will be in full swing as classes for fall semester begin Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Some points to keep in mind:

• Returning students will meet new professors and staffers, and some instructors have swapped offices. Still other instructors will have offices in a remodeled building at Woodlawn Avenue and Eighth Street.
• New students or those with advising concerns may visit the main office in Ernie Pyle Hall.
• Even though the semester is just beginning, students should get a head start on finding internships or even jobs by registering on the new careers Web site, IUJournalismCareers.com. Once registered, students can browse through internship opportunities, some of which have looming deadlines.
