Several faculty and graduate students are heading to the American Journalism Historians Association annual conference in Birmingham, Ala., Oct. 8-10. - Assistant professor Mike Conway is producing a panel as well as serving as a panelist for "Refocusing the Eye: New Research and Perspectives on CBS News."
- IUPUI professor Jonas Bjork will present "Newspaper Medicine: Medical Journals Attack the Press, 1893-1913."
- Graduate student William Gillis is a panelist for "Journalism in a Time of Crisis."
