Several representatives of the School of Journalism participated in a public affairs workshop Nov. 21, with senior lecturer Beth Wood leading a talk, “The 10 Most Important Things that Public Affairs Professionals Need to Know About Public Relations.”

Associate professor Radhika Parameswaran, assistant professor Joann Wong, and graduate students Zeynep Altinay and Tian Ming also spoke or contributed materials about media and public relations in various countries.

About 70 students attended the three-hour session sponsored by the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. It was part of SPEA’s series of supplemental workshops based on students’ interests.
