Editor to talk about transitioning from college to magazines

March 29, 2008
Ed2010 founder and alumna Chandra Czape-Turner (B.A.J.  ‘96), executive editor of CosmoGirl magazine, visits Saturday, April 5, 3:45 p.m. in the Ernie Pyle Auditorium to talk about transitioning from college to a career in magazine journalism.

During her visit to campus, Czape-Turner will critique students’ work. Those interested in this should sign up at the office of Career Services Director Marcia Debnam this week.

The Saturday talk is sponsored by Ed2010, an online community of students interested in pursuing magazine careers. A group of students at the School of Journalism formed a magazine interest group earlier this year with the idea of forming an Ed2010 chapter here.
