One of the IU Ed2010 organizers, junior Allie Townsend, said the group has collected tips from editors around the country. Thursday’s event includes a conference call with the associate features editor for Seventeen magazine.
Ed2010 is a national community of fledgling magazine writers who hope to have magazine jobs by 2010. Begun in New York City, Ed2010 has spread across the nation on campuses as well as in cities where young professionals network to land jobs.
