Doctoral student Spring-Serenity Duvall will serve on a panel entitled "Celebrity at the Margins" in the Critical and Cultural Studies Division at the annual conference of the National Communication Association in Chicago in November.

Her presentation, "Agitating at the Margins: The Radicalization of Celebrity Activism in U.S. Media," is part of her dissertation research under the advisement of associate professor Radhika Parameswaran.
