Doctoral student Spring-Serenity Duvall’s paper, "Perfect Little Feminists? Young Girls in the U.S. Interpret Gender, Violence and Friendship in Cartoons,” has been accepted for publication for the winter 2010 issue of the Journal of Children and Media.

The article is based on research from her master’s theses with her adviser, associate professor Radhika Parameswaran.
