Interim Student Media Director Nancy Comiskey’s article that appeared in O (the Oprah Magazine) was selected for the book, O’s Guide to Life: The Best of O, which features the best of the articles that appeared in teh magazine in the last two years.
Comiskey wrote the piece, "How to Help a Friend Who’s Lost a Child," based on her own family’s experience when her daughter, Kate, was killed by a drunk driver. The article was published in the August 2006 issue of the magazine and was the lead essay for a cover story on friendship.
