C-SPAN2′s Book TV bus visits campus Friday, and journalism students are invited to a special session featuring the cable station’s Scott Peterson at noon in the Ernie Pyle Auditorium.
Peterson will talk about how presidential candidates use the media to get out their messages and will share advice for students who want intern at C-SPAN in Washington, D.C.
The bus, which promotes C-SPAN2′s programs that feature non-fiction books and authors, will be parked on the south drive of the Indiana Memorial Union from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bus tours the country, and for this appearance, Indiana University Press invited C-SPAN2 to stop by to interview several of its authors.
