Associate professor Dave Boeyink and Visiting Professor Marty Pieratt were panelists at the 19th annual meeting of the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics in Cincinnati March 4-10.

Boeyink talked about "Pedagogical Demonstration: Making hard choices in journalism ethics.”  Pieratt, former crime reporter for WLWT-TV in Cincinnati, was on a panel, "Ethical Dimensions in the Media’s Coverage of Crime Victims." Other panelists were Edward Wasserman, Washington and Lee University; Bruce Shapiro, Columbia University; Chris Roberts, University of Alabama; and Jack Breslin, Iona College.
