Audio Storytelling students’ work airs on local radio

All of the students in the adjunct lecturer Sarah Neal-Estes’ spring J360 and J460 Audio Storytelling classes saw their work go live over the spring and summer and WFIU, 103.7 FM, the area’s public radio affiliate, or WFHB, 91.3 FM, a Bloomington community radio station.

Students’ features and news spots aired, and a few are yet to be published, said Neal-Estes. Some will also air on the student-run radio station WIUX.

Two students continue to work with the NPR Kitchen Sisters’ national project, the Hidden World of Girls. Sabrina Russello and Tessa Wilhelm are working with Nikki Silva, the project’s award-winning producer.
