George Gill, BA ‘57, former publisher of the (Louisville, Ky.) Courier-Journal, died April 10 in Louisville. Gill led the newspaper during its sale from the long-time owners, the Bingham family, to Gannett Newspapers in the mid-1980s.
Gill and his wife, Kay (Baldwin) Gill, BA ’57, met at IU, where both were studying journalism.
