Fifty-nine journalism students will be honored April 10 during IU’s Founders Day, an annual celebration of the university, its heritage and its scholars.

Students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or above by the end of the fall term are named Founders Scholars and take part in the Honors Convocation at the IU Auditorium. They also receive receive a formal letter of commendation signed by IU President Michael McRobbie and Provost Karen Hanson.

The journalism students who are among the Founders Scholars are:

Ayers, Robyn Esther Becker, Kamilla Katherine Benko, Amy Lynn Bishop, Dillon Michael Bocken, Chelsea Caroline Brune, Matthew Callahan, Rachel Louise Cerrone, Kimberly Sears Cook, Olivia Ann Elsner Corya, Kristina M. Cripe.
