Students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or above by the end of the fall term are named Founders Scholars and take part in the Honors Convocation at the IU Auditorium. They also receive receive a formal letter of commendation signed by IU President Michael McRobbie and Provost Karen Hanson.
