Two report from PRSSA conference

Senior Diana Biette and junior Mary Reisert are reporting from the PRSSA conference in Philadelphia.
Two School of Journalism students are reporting from the national Public Relations Student Society of America conference in Philadelphia Oct. 19-23.

Senior Diana Biette and junior Mary Reisert, both IU chapter PRSSA members, are networking with students from around the nation and taking notes in workshops for ideas on recruiting new members and helping them in the job search.

This conference marks PRSSA’s 40th year and the 60th anniversary of its parent organization, Public Relations Society of America, a group for professionals. In honor of this, the two are meeting at a joint conference this year with some overlapping sessions. This provides the students a chance to meet and network with working PR professionals.
