Alumnus and current Hazeltine Scholar Andrew Prinsen took photos for Global Refuge International while visiting Thailand and Burma in 2006. Here, he shoots his photo with a Hmong woman visiting a medical clinic.
Alumnus Andrew Prinsen, B.A.J. '07, is reporting from India for two months as part of his Ross Hazeltine Traveling Scholarship, a $7,000 travel grant awarded to graduating seniors for study or research in a country outside North America.

Prinsen is offering a blog of his travels and plans to post video and photos as well. His work is at this link.

Previous Hazeltine Scholars have traveled all over the world, working in various media and concentrating on different kinds of themes and reporting. Students apply during their senior years and are required to establish their goals and plans in writing. A committee selects at least one candidate each year who completes the two-month scholarship work after graduation.

For more information about the scholarship, check out this page and click on "current students."
