Gallery Two: Back Home
After witnessing the liberation of Paris and bidding farewell to Gen. Bradley, Pyle returned home. Once back in the states, Pyle made his way to Albuquerque to visit his wife, Jerry. While there, Life sent photographer Bob Landry to take some pictures of Pyle. Here, Pyle visits with his old friend Paige Cavanaugh, who was working as an adviser on "The Story of G.I. Joe."
