Students will take in some sights, such as N'Dhala Gorge Nature Park, as well as tour media outlets.
Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies Michael Evans will lead students through Australia, a component of a summer course.

Students will be exposed to the ways that various indigenous and ethnic groups focus and adapt media to suit their needs, including understanding what media are, how they operate, and what kinds of functions they serve. Students will explore Aboriginal and Maori media in Sydney, Cairns and Alice Springs, Australia. By traveling to these locations, students will experience media through the lens of a different culture.
