C201: Mike Kapellas Fall 2007

This course examines how journalists and the work they produce help shape the way we interpret the world. In addition to exploring the media’s role in helping build and maintain democratic institutions, the course will focus on a wide range of topics and trends in journalism, including privacy, indecency, coverage of underprivileged communities and celebrity journalism.
This course meets the second eight weeks of the fall semester 2007.
