Autobiography
I am working toward a PhD in Mass Communication. I came to IU in Fall 2003 from a six-year career in newspapers. I worked in Terre Haute, Ind.; Savannah, Ga.; and edited a weekly farm and ranch publication in Idaho Falls, Id. My agricultural background informs my research interests, which include "Middle Americanism" and identity, media ethics and new media technology, among others.
