Biography
Mike Lyons has been at IU since 2003. He received his BA from Temple University and his MA from IU. Mike's research interests include participatory journalism, the effects of technology on craft, and definition of journalism, media literacy and media history. He has worked as a reporter and editor in the former Soviet Union, the British West Indies, Alaska, and his hometown of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Most recently, he worked for the Associated Press in Eastern Europe.
