Anas Alahmed is a PhD student in journalism who has been working as a journalist for nine years. He is very interested in democratic theory and how to apply it to media, journalism, and new media social networking; the relationship between politics and the media in the Arab world; and, how the landscape of new media and the Internet transform society as well as political decisions in the Arab world.
