Biography
Ammina Kothari joined IU in Fall 2008. She received her B.A. in English and print journalism from North Central College, IL in 2006 and an M.A. in mass communication from University of Oregon in 2008. Her research interests include media representations of Africa, implications of the Internet and new media for journalism, Islam and women, representations of race and gender in media, and health and development communication.
