With November elections on the horizon, an Indianapolis TV news crew wants to know what’s on the minds of Bloomington residents.  And the WTHR Channel 13 Eyewitness News team will come to Ernie Pyle Hall Oct. 25 to find out.

As part of its Decision 2012 On the Road project, the station will air its 5 to 6:30 p.m. news broadcasts from the Indiana Memorial Union. Then, WTHR will lead a community conversation in the Ernie Pyle Hall Auditorium at 7 p.m. This will be taped with excerpts shown on the 11 p.m. news broadcast.

Anyone may watch the live broadcasts or attend the 7 p.m. program, which will be a “town hall” meeting. Eyewitness News anchor Andrea Morehead will moderate.

WTHR News director Keith Connors said Decision 2012 On the Road is about finding out what Hoosiers think about pressing issues in this election cycle, from the economy to education.

“We want to show what Hoosiers really care about,” Connors said.
