The Associated Press delivers news and photographs of events around the nation and world. Schools wanting to cover national news can start here in their research for ideas or stories.

A subsidiary to Associated Press. With hundreds of news, sports, entertainment and feature photos added daily to the AP/Wide World Photos collection, it has become the leading news and historical photo archive in the world today.

 

Channel One

Channel One allows students to submit their work. There are daily quizzes and news stories. The site is a spin-off of the news cast.

The ultimate news and information site created especially for middle and high school students. It includes educator-designed classroom and homework materials and in-depth resources from some of the education industry's leading companies: Riverdeep Interactive Learning, Harcourt and HighWired.com. It also features areas designated for teachers and students linked by a main daily news page.
