Entrepreneur Renner 'in motion'Published: January 19, 2006 School of Journalism alumni have found jobs all over the world, careers that build on their journalism studies. This series by Suzannah Evans asked some of those alumni to reflect on their careers.
Hometown: Berlin Current residence: Berlin Job: Partner, head of Marketing, Media & Sales, KiekMa KG Describe your typical workday. It's usually a long day, and there are certain routines. However, being an entrepreneur, every day may bring new challenges and developments. Is this where you imagined you'd end up? I have reached some goals, and missed others. But I haven't ended up anywhere. I am in motion. What's your proudest professional moment so far? I like to create and achieve. So, every footprint left behind is a proud moment. My company produces interactive postcards. I remember the first time I watched people look at our products on display, and a boy of perhaps 12 years saying, "this is so cool." What's your favorite memory of Bloomington or IU? Simply being a part of this vibrant community. Studying, working, hanging out on campus, performing as a Singing Hooser, the first homecoming, WTIU, IU basketball. Tell us something about where you live that we don't know.
