Journalist Rebecca MacKinnon Visiting J-School This Week

Former CNN Tokyo bureau chief Rebecca MacKinnon is on campus this week and will speak daily to a number of J-school classes about her experience as a journalist covering major events in Japan, China, Taiwan, North and South Korea, the Philippines, and Pakistan.

MacKinnon recently left CNN to pursue her research on the impact of new technologies on Journalism. She is currently a fellow at the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, politics and Public Policy at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
