A new book about the Beatles features a first-person account of the Fab Four's 1965 tour, written by professor Holly Stocking, who was was working as a summer intern for the Minneapolis Tribune when the Beatles made their second tour to the U.S.

Stocking dressed up as a waitress to get access to the musicians in the hotel where they were staying. In her essay, she recounts what happened that night, noting that John Lennon was the kindest of all the Beatles, taking pity on her as a fledgling reporter and giving her an hour and a half of his personal time, which eventually led to a page-one story for the Tribune
