Professor Chris Ogan and Leen d'Haenens, professor at the Centre for Media, Culture & Communication Technology at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, edited a special issue of The European Journal of Communication Research on media and ethnic minorities in Europe.

Ogan also published an article in the issue titled "Methodological Approaches to Studying Immigrant Communities: Why Flexibility is Important."
