Weller blog shares Asia experience

School of Journalism graduate student and communications reporter Ben Weller is traveling in Asia this summer and has created a blog to let readers share in his experiences.

He's already visited with professor Steve Raymer who is in the region and will meet with Dean Brad Hamm, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies Bonnie Brownlee and the Roy W. Howard Collegiate Reporting Competition winners this week.

Weller also is checking on potential student exchange opportunities with universities. In August, he'll visit Chang Bak Won, one of the Korean exchange journalists who was here last year and tour his newspaper offices.

Weller will continue his own education as well, studying at the University of Hong Kong in July and August.
