The Will Counts Photography Award Contest for student photojournalists offers $1,000 to the winner.

Applicants must have been enrolled in school Jan. 1, 2006 to Dec. 31, 2006 and must submit 10-15 photos, at least five of which must have been published in a newspaper during 2006. Remaining photos can be of unpublished work. Photos should show a variety of work.

Award will be presented May 12 during the annual newspaper awards luncheon of the Indiana Associated Press Managing Editors in Indianapolis. Winner must attend. Specific entry rules apply. See Marcia Debnam in EP202 for detailed outline. Deadline: March 30.
