Historians from the School of Journalism joined forces Feb. 24 to present a panel, "Journalism as a Source for Historians," at the 27th annual meeting of the Indiana Association for Historians at the Indiana Memorial Union.

Professor Carol Polsgrove organized the panel. Other participants were:

Assistant professor Mike Conway, who spoke on "Early Television Journalism as a Historical Source";

Associate professor Owen V. Johnson, who presented "It's in the Papers: Journalistic Evidence for the Life of Ernie Pyle";

Professor David Nord, who discussed "Journalism and the Journal of American History."
