Roy Howard Professor David Weaver's 1981 book (with Doris Graber, Maxwell McCombs and Chaim Eyal), Media Agenda-Setting in a Presidential Election (Praeger, 1981), has been selected by professor Toshio Takeshita and his colleagues in Japan for inclusion in their planned book (in Japanese) that is "a showcase for milestone works in media and communication studies. Each chapter presents a brief overview of each of such classic books as Public Opinion (Lippmann), Personal Influence (Katz & Lazarsfeld) and Spiral of Silence (Noelle-Neumann)."
