Jim Vella, marketing professor at University of Michigan-Dearborn and former Ford Motor Company executive, will speak on crisis communications in the auditorium.
Nov. 6
Rusty Coats, general manager of Tampa Bay Online, will visit professor Chris Ogan's classes and meet with faculty.
Nov. 7
Bob Schultz, public relations director at the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Center, will visit J460 and J428.
Jim Tobin, historian and author of a biography of Ernie Pyle and visiting professor at Miami University of Ohio, speaks to professor Owen Johnson's J410 class and professor Carol Polsgrove's J501 class.

Andreas Silow, president of Metro Teknik in Sweden, will speak at 2:30 p.m. in the Ernie Pyle Auditorium.

Ken Chitester (B.A. '85), vice president of Hill and Knowlton in Chicago, speaks to visiting professor Jim Bright's J428 and J460 classes and to the IDS staff.
Ken Inskeep, general counsel for Barnes and Thornburg, visits lecturer Beth Wood's J321 class at 4 p.m. to discuss legal concerns affecting public relations practitioners.

Naples Daily News business reporter Riddhi Trivedi-St. Clair, M.A. '01, will visit the school Nov. 12-14 to speak to classes and meet with master's students.

Rick Gevers will talk to assistant professor Mike Conway's J353 Advanced Broadcast News Class Nov. 15. Gevers has spent more than 20 years in television news, including many years as a news director. Gevers now is a talent agent and works with broadcast journalists who are looking to advance their careers.

Leslie Gaines-Ross of Weber-Shandwick and author of CEO Capital will speak on the role the CEO plays in determining a company's reputation and how PR professionals need to work with the CEO of an organization to maximize the effectiveness of this role. EP 214.

Atlantic Monthly senior correspondent Amy Waldman will visit campus to speak on "India Accelerating: How India's Booming Economy is Transforming its Society and Culture." Location to be announced.

Rafat Ali, editor of the MoCoNews.net, will visit J460 to discuss his company, Content Next, an independent media organization covering the business of digital media.
Nov. 27
Howard Rheingold, author of Our Odyssey with Technology, will speak at 5 p.m. at the Frangipani Room in the IMU, with a reception at Ernie Pyle Lounge afterwards. His talk is part of the Rob Kling Center for Informatics Fall Speaker Series.
