Scholarship deadline Jan. 16
Scholarship deadline Jan. 16

Published: Oct. 22, 2006

Though the deadline isn't until January, it is time to be thinking about applying for the numerous scholarships available to qualified undergraduate journalism majors. Completing the general scholarship application form puts you into a pool for these scholarships.

To see available scholarships, visit the Scholarship Web page. Applications are in Ernie Pyle 200 and on the Web. Deadline is Jan. 16.

To be considered for a journalism scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year, submit six complete sets of all materials (application, statement of purpose, example of work) to Linda Long in the Ernie Pyle Hall main office, EP200.

Multiple copies of your application materials are required so that each committee member can have his or her own set to review during the deliberation process. Applications are reviewed by the School of Journalism undergraduate scholarship committee, which is composed of faculty members and an undergraduate student.

Names of scholarship winners are announced at the Scholarship Awards Ceremony in April.

Questions? Contact Linda Long in the office, call her at 855-9248 or e-mail ljlong@indiana.edu.
