The Big Ten Conference is seeking candidates for the Robert Hammel Communications Internship, a sports information, public relations and publicity position for journalists who have bachelor's degrees.

Other qualifications include an interest in pursuing a career in sports information or athletics administration. Salary is $22,000 per year plus benefits.

The Big Ten Conference initiated the internship in 1993 in honor of Bob Hammel, long-time Bloomington Herald-Times sportswriter.
