Covering Politics and Elections, a conference for college journalists in Washington, D.C., Nov. 9 to 11, is accepting applications through Oct. 31.
Sponsored by the Institute on Political Journalism, the conference will be just days after national elections, giving participants a unique opportunity to examine election coverage at a time when professionals and politicians may be analyzing as well.
Attendees will meet with working journalists who will share their insights on the mid-term elections. They also will visit with Meet the Press' Tim Russert after a taping of his show.
The conference is open to journalism undergraduate and graduate students, deans, professors and media advisors at colleges and universities.
