Visiting professor Sandeep Junnarkar will speak April 7 at a conference organized by Ohio University's Institute for Applied and Professional Ethics and the E. W. Scripps School of Journalism. The conference is "Blogging and Online Journalism: New Media, New Challenges, New Ethics."

Junnarkar will address how the Web's multimedia capabilities can be harnessed to tell untold stories and the technical, financial, journalistic and ethical challenges for independent journalists/bloggers who try to bypass the traditional media gatekeepers.

April 8, he will lead a workshop, "Practical Considerations in Ethical Blogging."
