Weaver work in new book

Roy W. Howard Professor David Weaver is author of a chapter, "Mass Communication Research at the End of the 20th Century: Looking Back and Ahead," in Global Trends in Communication Education and Research. The book, edited by Kenneth Leung, James Kenny and Paul Lee of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, was just published by Hampton Press.

Weaver also is co-author with Lars Willnat (Ph.D., '92, and professor at George Washington University) of another chapter in this book, "Journalism and Mass Communication Education in the United States."

Other chapters in the book focus on media history, globalization and
communication research and education in the United Kingdom, France,
Australia, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
