Johnson presented a paper, "Creating a Slovak Collective Memory in the Communist & Post-Communist Press," at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies, Nov. 3-6, in Salt Lake City. He also organized, chaired and participated in a round table discussion of a new book by Bradley Abrams, "The Struggle for the Soul of the Nation: Czech Culture & Socialism 1945-1948," at the same meeting. |
