Reynolds and Former Doctoral Student Publish Article

Assistant Professor Amy Reynolds and former doctoral student Brooke Barnett (now an assistant professor at Elon University) have just published an article in the Autumn 2003 Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, "This Just In ... How National TV News Handled the Breaking "Live" Coverage of September 11."

AEJMC is promoting the Reynolds/Barnett study along with another from the Autumn 2003 edition in its "Research You Can Use" feature on the AEJMC web site. "Research You Can Use" is produced by a volunteer group of faculty and staff within AEJMC. The group selects new research from AEJMC refereed journals that may interest journalists. Journalists may use the releases for stories or for continuing education.
