Stocking Invited to Participate in Science of Psychology Gathering

Holly Stocking has just returned from St. Petersburg, Florida, where she was invited participant in a gathering to brainstorm ways to increase both the quantity and the quality of the public's understanding of the science of psychology. The 20 attendees included Peter Clarke of the University of Southern California, and various senior science writers and academic psychologists. The senior science writers included Joe Palca, senior science correspondent for National Public Radio; Sharon Begley, science columnist for the Wall St. Journal; K.C. Cole, science writer for the Los Angeles Times, and others.
