Weaver Co-authored a Paper Comparing American and German Online Journalists

Roy Howard Professor David Weaver co-authored a paper comparing American and German online journalists that was presented at the 2004 conference of the International Communication Association (ICA) in New Orleans. The paper, "American and German Online Journalists at the Beginning of the 21st Century," was co-authored with four German colleagues from Ilmenau University. Weaver also participated in the formation of a new Journalism Studies Interest Group in ICA with two of the German colleagues (Martin Loeffelholz and Thomas Hanitzsch). This new group was approved by the ICA Board at its May 27th meeting.
