Stocking Presented Course Portfolio at Three-day Conference

Holly Stocking recently presented a course portfolio at a three-day conference, "Making Learning Visible: Peer Review and the Scholarship of Teaching," held at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Stocking shared a portfolio she has developed for J410: Media as Social Institutions, and she discussed how the process of developing a portfolio had begun to improve her understanding of student learning and her teaching. Sixteen portfolios from around the country were selected for presentation, four of them from professional schools. The conference was sponsored by the American Association for Higher Education, The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, The Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Universities of Nebraska and Kansas.
