Student news designers won several College News Design Contest awards for their work at the IDS and INside magazine. The CNDC announced the awards Thursday.

In photojournalism, Aaron Bernstein won third place for "IU falls to Gonzaga." In special sections, the INside magazine staffers Jordan David, Josh Zurawksi and Nate Bethea won first place for the "Sex" issue and IDS staff won second place for "Little 500 Race Guide." Also in that category, Nina Mehta won honorable mention for an IDS piece, "The web that binds us."
