Myers scholarship offers $500

The Hortense P. Myers Memorial Journalism Scholarship of $500 is available for any journalism student who has completed at least 48 credit hours (including nine journalism hours) and has a GPA of 2.5 or better.

Send transcript, recommendation from a journalism professor, one page resume (include social security number, addresses and phone numbers) and a letter describing goals and reason for requesting the scholarship.

Winner will be invited to the May meeting as a luncheon guest of the Woman's Press Club of Indiana. Send materials to the Woman's Press Club of Indiana state scholarship chair: Margaret Nelson, 2040 N. Euclid Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46218. Applications must be postmarked by midnight April 20.
