The Louise Eleanor Ross Kleinhenz award for $500 goes to a woman over 30 years of age who desires to upgrade her skills to re-enter the journalism job market or to seek a better paying job.

This award is in memory of Louise Eleanor Ross Kleinenz, a 45-year member of Woman's Press Club of Indiana. Kleinhenz served the organization as president, historian and editor before her death in 1977.
