Anyone who took professor Ralph Holsinger’s editing course will recall his surprise news quizzes, his admonishments not to "tinker" while copy editing and his slideshow of "bad" headlines.

Holsinger taught journalism at IU from 1965 to 1989 and is a member of the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame.
